Sumba Tour Package is the Sumba desk of IndonesiaJuara Trip. We run one crossing of the island — Tambolaka to Waingapu — as a private trip on your dates, or as a fixed weekly departure.

In short

We are not a broker. The vehicle, the driver and the tour leader are ours, the hotels are booked by us, and the price you see is the price you pay.

  • One route, west to east, so no drive is repeated and nothing is padded out.
  • An English-speaking tour leader travels with every group.
  • A drone and a mirrorless camera come too, and the footage is yours before you fly home.
  • Rates are net and published. Flights and personal spending are the only things you add.

What We Handle

Everything between the arrivals hall at Tambolaka and the departures hall at Waingapu.

    An English-speaking tour leader for the whole trip.

  • Hotels, twin share

    Sinar Tambolaka in the west, Padadita in the east, or equivalent.

  • Meals

    Nine meals across a four-day trip.

  • Documentation

    Drone and mirrorless camera. Files are copied to your own drive on day three.

  • Fees and water

    All entrance fees, village donations and mineral water.

  • Airport transfers

    Pick-up at Tambolaka and drop-off at Waingapu.

Not included: flights into Tambolaka (TMC) and out of Waingapu (WGP), and personal spending.
